Project Overview
This project involves building an interactive Loan Analytics Dashboard designed to provide both high-level insights and detailed loan analysis. The dashboard is structured into three interconnected views: Summary Dashboard, Overview Dashboard, and Detail Dashboard. The primary objective is to analyze loan performance, repayment behavior, risk distribution, and growth trends using key financial KPIs, dynamic filters, and intuitive visualizations.
1. Summary Dashboard
The Summary Dashboard provides a high-level snapshot of overall loan portfolio performance.
Key KPIs (with MTD & MoM Analysis):
- Total Loan Applicants
- Average Debt-to-Income (DTI)
- Average Interest Rate
- Total Funded Amount
- Total Received Amount
Key Visuals & Insights:
- Month-to-Date (MTD) and Month-over-Month (MoM) performance tracking
- Good Loan vs Bad Loan comparison based on loan behavior
- Loan Status analysis (Fully Paid, Current, Charged Off)
- Interactive slicers for dynamic filtering
- Navigation buttons to move seamlessly between dashboards
This dashboard helps stakeholders quickly assess portfolio health, repayment quality, and risk exposure.
2. Overview Dashboard
The Overview Dashboard focuses on identifying trends and patterns across time, geography, and categories.
Key Features:
- Same KPIs and slicers for consistency across dashboards
- Line charts showing Month-over-Month growth trends
- Geographic map to visualize loan distribution by location
- Tree map to analyze KPIs across different loan categories
This dashboard supports trend analysis, regional performance evaluation, and strategic decision-making.
3. Detail Dashboard
The Detail Dashboard enables granular, record-level analysis for deeper investigation.
Tabular Fields Included:
- Loan ID
- Purpose
- Issue Date
- Grade
- Funded Amount
- Average Interest Rate
- Installment Amount
- Received Amount
Using the same KPIs and slicers, users can drill down from summary insights to individual loan records, making this dashboard ideal for audit checks, exception analysis, and detailed reporting.
